Dear Huitong Students and Parents,
新学年的开始转瞬即逝，国庆黄金周近在眼前。
It has been a flying start of a new school year and Golden week is just around the corner.
我很高兴地与大家分享我们表演艺术部学生的一些优异成绩。在9月份的英皇小提琴演奏级别考试中，Peter Tao和John Zhou都取得了94%的成绩（卓越等级）。Vicky Zhu和Peter Tao在他们各自的伯克利在线暑期课程--流行音乐风格和音乐制作分析中取得了A的成绩。这些成就对他们的大学申请都非常有利。很高兴看到我们的学生能够很好地利用暑假继续提高他们的音乐水平。我们乐于见到孩子们在表演艺术领域获得好成绩并且在周报中分享。请将孩子们的好消息发邮件至 szmusic@whittleschool.org
I am pleased to share some exceptional results from our PA students. Peter Tao and John Zhou both scored 94% for the ARSM violin exams in September. Vicky Zhu and Peter Tao achieved an A grade for their respective Berklee online summer courses – Popular Musical Styles and Music Production Analysis. These results are most beneficial for the students' college applications. It is great to see how well our students made the best use of their summer break to continue to improve their musicianship. In this newsletter, we want to share updates on our co-curricular offerings this semester. We had over 200 students participating in our Performing Arts activities regularly last year. We hope to more students will sign up to be involved this year!
