Back to School Nights Were Held Online in All Grades
过去两周，荟同各年级陆续在线上举办了本学期的“课程之夜”。这项活动是荟同每学年之初的一项传统。由于疫情原因，学校很遗憾此次无法邀请到家长入校进行面对面沟通，但是各年级组长与不同学科的任课老师们，依然精心准备了关于学生管理、学科课程和家校沟通等多个主题内容。
Over the past two weeks, all grades at Huitong have been holding their online "Back to School Night.” This event is a tradition at the beginning of each academic year. Due to the epidemic, we could not invite parents to the school for face-to-face communication. However, the head of grade and teachers from different subjects still prepared a variety of topics on student management, subject curriculum, and home-school communication for presentation.
通过一个半小时的详尽展示，家长们可以了解到孩子在校的学习与日常活动流程，更重要的是，能够知悉孩子升入新年级后各个学科的教学计划以及课程设计逻辑。除此之外，各个年级有不少家长通过填写问卷的形式，针对性地向老师提出问题以及意见，这些反馈对于未来老师们协助孩子学习和成长都有很大的助益。学生的成长离不开密切的家校合作和积极的家校沟通。希望荟同大家庭在新学年继续携手前行，让每一位学子在荟同五彩树的滋养下，实现梦想，迈向更广阔的世界舞台。
Through an hour and a half of detailed presentations, parents could understand the routine of their child's learning and daily activities at school and, more importantly, the curriculum design and teaching plan for each subject as their child moves to a new grade. In addition, many parents from each grade level filled out questionnaires to provide teachers with more specific questions and comments, which will be of great help to teachers in helping their children learn and grow in the future. The growth of students cannot be achieved without close cooperation and active communication between home and school. We hope that the Huitong family will continue to work together in our new school year and help every student to realize their dreams and step into a broader world stage.
