Enjoying ELC Sports Day!
11月11日，我们终于迎来了本年度的荟同幼儿园Sports Day！作为一所强调全人教育的现代学校，我们一直都十分注重每一位孩子身体素养（Physical Literacy）的培养，老师们利用不同活动场地设计了多元的活动项目，鼓励孩子们充满热情地去参与体育锻炼，感受运动的乐趣。
On November 11, we grandly held this year's ELC Sports Day! As a modern school that emphasizes whole-person education, we have always placed great emphasis on the development of physical literacy for each child, and our teachers have designed a variety of activities in different venues to encourage children to participate in sports with enthusiasm and enjoy the fun of sports.
对于幼儿园的孩子们来说，一年一度的 Sports Day 正是他们最为期待的活动之一。今年，幼儿园老师设计了十种趣味十足的项目，包括躲避球、接力赛跑、抓人游戏等等。当天，可爱的孩子们身着学院服，跟随老师们前往不同场地进行活动。
For the ELC kids, the annual Sports Day is one of their most anticipated eventThis year, our teachers designed 10 different games, including dodgeball, relay race, tag game and many more. The lovely children dressed up in their House uniforms and followed their teachers to the different fields for the games.
幼儿园的运动会与其说是一场比拼，倒不如说更像一场充满乐趣、考验孩子们协调能力与合作能力的游戏。在老师们解释规则、示范动作后，孩子们独自或者分组轮流上前进行尝试、互相比拼，专注认真的神情透露出他们不服输的体育竞技精神。
The ELC Sports Day is not so much a game as a game full of fun and testing children's coordination and cooperation ability. After the teachers explained the rules and demonstrated the movements, the children took turns to try and compete with each other alone or in groups. Their attentive expressions revealed their unconquerable sportsmanship.
我们的生活当中充满着各种不同的挑战，有时既需要自己独特的智慧，又需要我们的团结协作。当孩子们在进行一些拔河等集体项目时，所有人都大声喊着口号为自己和朋友加油打气，这是令人欣喜的力量与羁绊。沉浸于运动中，孩子们的欢声笑语飘向校园的各个角落，传递着荟同年龄最小的孩子们身体里蕴藏的无限能量。欢迎通过照片与我们一同重温属于幼儿园Sports Day的活力瞬间！
Our lives are full of different challenges that sometimes require both our own unique wisdom and our unity and collaboration. When the children were playing some collective games such as tug of war, all of them shouted out to cheer themselves and their friends which showed a delightful strength and bonding in the Huitong family. Immersed in sports, the laughter of the children drifted to all corners of the campus, transmitting the energy of our youngest children.
