Sports Star of the Month
荟同月度体育之星是荟同体育组从本学期启动的一项全新策划。每个月末，体育组老师都会对每个年级的学生表现进行讨论，选出在体育课和荟同老鹰课后课项目中表现突出的一位女生和一位男生，评为体育之星。 这些孩子还将进入荟同体育名人堂，展示他们的照片和入选理由。评选月度体育之星没有固定的标准，它基于一套核心价值观。许多运动都以这些价值观为基础，而这也是荟同体育组希望在孩子们的体育运动中看到的原则，它们包括：尊重、正直、热情、团结、纪律和出色的表现。
Sports Star of the Month is a brand-new initiative being run by the PE Department. At the end of each month, the PE department will discuss each grade and select one girl and one boy who have stood out in PE and the Huitong Hawks After School Programme. The children selected will be awarded the Sports Star of the Month. There are no set criteria for children to be selected, it is based around a set of core values, on which many sports base their principles, that we expect to see in PE. These include respect, integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and outstanding performance.
体育之星已经进入第二个月，整个体育组老师们都对孩子们的努力和态度印象深刻。孩子们一直在努力，推动自己取得更多成就，并共同进步。
Sports Stars of the Month is now in the second month and the whole PE team are incredibly impressed with the effort and attitude of the children. The children have been trying hard, pushing themselves to achieve more, and working together collaboratively.

Camellia Sun 1C: Camellia has made a great impression on her teachers; she listens carefully and can explain the instructions to her peers bilingual. Camellia shows the true skills of a good leader in grade 1 already!

Charlie Zheng 2E: Charlie has made incredible improvements to his behaviour and is now supporting others in the class to ensure the class expectations are followed. He is translating instructions, helping his peers develop their throwing and catching skills and showing an excellent attitude.

Aiia Sher 2A: Aiia shows passion and determination in her lessons. She never gives up and always faces a challenge head-on. Her passion to improve is to be commended.

Jemmy Wang 3D: Jemmy is a natural athlete and leader who abides by the rules of the games and enforces these positively. He is honest about the score and shows real integrity.

Oscar Yin 5B: Oscar loves sport and his passion is projected onto others. He is excited to learn and is an outstanding leader. Oscar also has a wonderful caring side to him, where he is willing to support anyone who needs extra help. This is a well-deserved award!

Kenneth Xiang(Senior student): Kenneth is an all-round sports star, he participates in all lessons with great enthusiasm and also represents the school team giving 100% every fixture.
